After completing his HBA in Political Science at McMaster University, Dave was hired by the Peel Regional Police,
where he started his policing career. Dave worked as a First Class Constable in a variety of different front line and
investigative roles for 18 years. During his policing career, Dave honed his interpersonal and mediation skills while
gaining valuable knowledge with regards to the Residential Tenancies Act, Municipal By-Laws and the Criminal Code.
In 1998, Dave bought his first investment property and never looked back. During his 20 years of investing in real
estate, Dave has owned residential, mixed use and commercial properties throughout Southwestern Ontario.
In 2014, Dave founded Hanlyn Property Management Ltd. Since it's inception, Hanlyn has experienced increasing
demand, which has necessitated a growing team of professionals. Dave's current responsibilities include the
management of all rents, tenants, operational planning and business development.

During his studies at McMaster University, where he obtained his Bachelors of Psychology, Cory took an interest in the local real estate market, shortly after cementing his passion as a real estate investor. Over the course of the next 10 years, Cory would perfect various investment strategies via the acquisition, and re-development of more than 30 properties.
In 2016, Cory partnered with Dave to create Hanlyn as it exists today. As a Licensed General Contractor within the City of Hamilton, he is responsible for the execution and supervision of all large scale permit projects conducted under the Hanlyn umbrella. His expertise places Hanlyn in a unique position among property management companies; our clients are able to benefit from his comprehensive view of their investment portfolio, which aims to maximize financial returns while providing quality housing for great tenants.
Cory's current responsibilities include the management and oversight of Hanlyn Property Managements portfolio of rental units. Working with a team of engineers and design technologists, he specializes in multi-unit conversions, with a special interest in commercial and multi-res zoned projects.

Our Office Administrator Lisa, began her professional career as a restaurant manager and has been in customer service in a managerial capacity for the better part of her working years. As a student at Mohawk College, Lisa graduated with honors from the Executive Office Administration program and was fortunate enough to participate in a work placement program with a large industrial firm, as well as do some part time administrative work in a financial services office.
When Lisa is not working she can usually be found on the patio reading a good book with an iced coffee in hand. Lisa has a love for travel and experiencing different cultures and communities with her husband Giorgio and the rest of her family.
Lisa loves working at Hanlyn because she feels such a strong sense of community, a community where we do our best to give back whenever we can. We are truly Hamiltonians in every sense of the word and want to be productive members of our community for many years to come.

Lisa came to a Hanlyn with 7 years experience in leasing and 15 years in the Residential Real Estate field.
She is a graduate of Mohawk College with a diploma in Business Administration.
After graduating, Lisa’s career was mostly focused in customer service until she met her husband Brad and started her family becoming a full time stay at home mom for 14 years with 3 children and living in different provinces in Canada as well as 5 years in the United States.
During this time she was very active in the world of volunteering, helping out with Habitat for Humanity, shelters for teenage moms and as Co-President of a Wisconsin based moms group “Mothers and More."
After coming back to Ontario in 2010, Lisa entered back into the workplace in an administrative role in the field of Real Estate, which eventually led to a full time Leasing Specialist position.
Lisa feels grateful to be with Hanlyn Properties and working with investors to secure great tenants as well as helping tenants find a place to call home!

Amanda started her career path in various executive administrative roles since graduating with honors from a Medical Administration program.
After being offered a property to manage, Amanda quickly realized that Medical Administration was not the direction she should take. She went on to be a building Superintendent, a Manager, and a Property Administrator collecting 18 years’ experience.
Since joining Hanlyn Property Management, Amanda has found she enjoys going in to work each day. The Hanlyn team treats their tenants fair and with respect, and their employees like family.
In Amanda’s downtime, she can be found spending time with her family and pets, or shopping for shoes.
