Norm MacNeil

Renovation Specialist

Renovation Specialist Norm MacNeil has an impressive, multi-decade background in both marketing and general contracting.

Completing his Certified Home Inspector certification through Sheridan College in 2016, Norm has the range of skills necessary to ensure that Hanlyn clients are best positioned to take advantage of changing market trends pertaining to their rental space. Coordinating municipal matters such as the legalization of rental suites and duplex/triplex conversions are routine matters which Norm skillfully navigates with familiarity.

Norm’s approach to liability mitigation has also been long recognized and appreciated by Hanlyn clients due to his proactive identification and repair of minor deficiencies before they become larger, more costly issues. When Norm isn’t dealing with government regulations or coordinating engineers, he can be found in his garage, meticulously working to squeeze every last drop of horse-power out of his classic, hand-restored Porche Carrera.

Carlos Pinho

Field Supervisor

Carlos Pinho, Hanlyn’s Field Supervisor, joined Hanlyn with 25 years of experience in the General Contracting and Property Management industry.

His extensive experience in repairs, maintenance and renovations means he rarely comes up against an issue he cannot readily identify and address.

Carlos is an affable, approachable professional who is excellent at communicating with tenants. He prides himself on taking the utmost care when visiting our tenanted rental units, and our tenants routinely comment on his commitment to detail and his thoughtful approach to conducting repairs.

Carlos is the definition of a family man. He is happiest when he is surrounded by his loved ones; you can usually find him hosting his friends and family on his days off.

Danielle Molloy

Paralegal & Office Administration

Serving as the heartbeat of the Hanlyn organization, Danielle came to the company with an impressive wealth of knowledge pertaining to all things administrative.

With a background in working with some of the largest players in the Hamilton real estate landscape, there are very few situations that Danielle cannot navigate with confidence and precision.

Her knowledge and employment history in the Paralegal industry are at the foundation of Danielle’s administrative skill set. As a fully licensed Paralegal practicing since 2006, her experience at the Landlord and Tenant Board and Small Claims Court allows her to support our clients in ways that offer unquestionable value.

Clients and tenants alike appreciate Danielle’s direct yet empathetic approach to communication, leveraging her diverse work history to deliver insights and direction in an impactful manner.

When Danielle isn’t in the office keeping the trains running on time, you can find her travelling or snuggling up on the couch with her beloved pets.

Lisa Miller

Leasing Manager

Leasing Specialist Lisa Miller is a graduate of Mohawk College with a diploma in Business Administration and joined Hanlyn with 7 years of experience in leasing and 15 years in the residential real estate field.

Lisa has been very active in volunteering, helping with Habitat for Humanity, various shelters for teenage moms and as Co-President of a Wisconsin-based moms group, “Mothers and More.” Lisa and her husband, Brad have three children and have lived in different provinces across Canada and for 5 years in the United States.

On the rare occasion when Lisa isn’t preoccupied with finding some of Hamiltion’s finest tenants their next home, she can be found spending time with her family on one of her many globe-trotting adventures.

Lisa Di Paola

Project Manager

Project Manager Lisa Di Paola began her professional career as a restaurant manager and has worked in customer service in a managerial capacity throughout most of her career.

As a student at Mohawk College, Lisa graduated with honours from the Executive Office Administration program and participated in a work placement program with a large industrial firm and administrative work placement in a financial services office.

When Lisa is not working, she can usually be found on the patio reading a good book with an iced coffee in hand. Lisa loves travelling and experiencing different cultures and communities with her husband, Giorgio, and her family.

Lisa loves working at Hanlyn because she feels a strong sense of community where the team works hard to give back whenever they can. Lisa looks forward to meeting both investors and tenants and welcoming them to our community with a smile.

Cory Greenwood

Director & Visionary

During his studies at McMaster University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Psychology, Cory took an interest in the local real estate market and shortly began his journey as a real estate investor.

Over the next 15 years, Cory perfected various investment strategies by acquiring and re-developing more than 30 properties.

In 2016, Cory partnered with Dave to formally launch Hanlyn Property Management. As a Licensed Realtor and General Contractor, he is responsible for the execution of the company’s marketing strategy and business development. His expertise places Hanlyn in a unique position among property management companies where clients are able to benefit from his comprehensive insights on their investment portfolio, helping them maximize financial returns while providing quality housing for great tenants.

Cory manages growth strategies for Hanlyn Property Management’s portfolio of rental units. Working with a team of marketing, legal, and real estate professionals, his focus remains on delivering Hanlyn clients the highest property management standards in the industry.

Dave Ellis

Director & Integrator

After completing his HBA in Political Science at McMaster University, Dave was hired by the Peel Regional Police, where he started his policing career.

After completing his HBA in Political Science at McMaster University, Dave was hired by the Peel Regional Police, where he started his policing career. Dave worked as a First Class Constable in a variety of different front line and investigative roles for 18 years. During his policing career, Dave honed his interpersonal and mediation skills while gaining valuable knowledge with regard to the Residential Tenancies Act, Municipal By-Laws and the Criminal Code.

In 1998, Dave bought his first investment property and never looked back. During his 20 years of investing in real estate, Dave has owned residential, mixed-use and commercial properties throughout Southwestern Ontario.

In 2014, Dave founded Hanlyn Property Management Ltd. Since its inception, Hanlyn has experienced increasing demand, which has necessitated a growing team of professionals. Dave’s current leadership role includes overseeing the management of all rents, tenants, and internal operations.
